Dental Staff

All our professionals at Renner & Angel Pediatric Dentistry maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry.

Dr. William Renner

Dr. Renner was born in Wichita, Kansas to a family with seven siblings. He received a BS in Zoology from Washington State University, a DDS degree from Georgetown University and completed his pediatric dental training at Milwaukee Children’s Hospital. He has practiced pediatric dentistry in Waukesha since 1979. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Wisconsin Society of Pediatric Dentists. He received his board certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 1988 and maintains fellow and diplomat status in the American Society of Pediatric Dentistry. He regularly volunteers at Waukesha County Dental Clinic. His family includes his wife, Francesca and two sons, Paul and Thomas. He loves to travel and hike the National Parks. Oreo and Snickers, their Shih Tzu dogs, keep them entertained!

Dr. Susan Angel

Dr. Angel is a native of Racine, Wisconsin. She attended Marquette University earning undergraduate degrees in biology and Spanish and then went on to earn her dental degree. After graduation in 2013, Dr. Angel practiced general dentistry for one year before deciding to specialize in pediatric dentistry. She was awarded her specialty certificate and masters degree in June 2016 from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  Dr. Angel is married to Dr. Max Meinerz, her Marquette dental school classmate.  Together, they love to cook, spend time with their family and friends and travel whenever they can sneak it in.  Guatemala holds a special place in their hearts. They travel there each year with a group to provide dental care to the underserved through a local nonprofit they helped to found, United by PAT.

Jena

Jena is a Waukesha native that knows and loves the area. She joined the practice in 2017 as a standout dental assistant. When she's not working, you can find her reading a good book or spending time with her friends and family. If you ever want to know about the newest restaurants in the area, Jena's your go-to tour guide! Little known fact, she's also a triplet!

Pam

Pam is a Registered Dental Hygienist and started working for Dr. Renner in 1993. She came to this office with 14 years previous experience working in another pediatric dental practice. She was born and raised in West Bend, Wisconsin and started her post high school education there, at the University of Wisconsin-Extension. She then received her dental hygiene degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pam continues to participate in continuing education programs. She has one son, Max. Her Golden Retriever, Molly, keeps her walking regularly.  She loves to cook, read, travel, camp and ride her bike.

Amy

Amy has been been with the practice since 1990. She recently moved to the front of the house and is the smiling face that will greet you at the front desk. She's also the welcoming voice you'll hear on the phone!  When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband, Mike, for 24 years. She has two children, Allison and Adam. Much of her spare time is spent going to the kids’ sporting events. When she has any extra time she enjoys walking and reading (but not at the same time!).

Shelby

Shelby is the most recent addition to our growing practice. She is full of positivity and energy, especially after she has had her first cup of coffee! The oldest of 8 kids, Shelby has always found herself loving being around the "little ones." When she isn't assisting, sterilizing, or working at our front desk, you can find Shelby at home with her 4 dogs! In her spare time, she and her boyfriend are traveling, hiking or basically doing anything outdoors.
